Legacy Giving
People have made at least a start at understanding the meaning of life when they plant shade trees under which they know full well they will never sit.

It's easy to continue supporting St. Margaret's, even after your death!
Bequests from wills, retirement plans and other estate plans are placed in permanently restricted funds and only a portion of the earnings is available to be spent each year. The
remainder is kept in funds that grow over time and produce more and more earnings. Plus, donors get to decide where they want their bequests to go: properties, outreach, special
projects or worship and music.
At the beginning of 2010 our endowment funds totaled more than $350,000. Funds are overseen by St. Margaret's Endowment Committee.
