Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. James 5:16
Prayer is at the heart of who we are and all that we do at Saint Margaret's. There are many opportunties to pray which include different styles of prayer. If you desire prayer for yourself or others, please email or call us. We would be grateful to pray for you. You are also invited to your a prayer group yourself. Alpha Pray-ers: pray in support of the Alpha program at St. Margaret's and worldwide including prayer for the Alpha team members, past guests, current guests and future guests. Prayers are also offered for ministries at St. Margaret's, our local community, and the world.
Contemplative Pray-ers: offer the opportunity to read scripture and participate in silent meditative walks inspired by the Thomas Keating Centering Prayer model. This group meets in the sanctuary prayer corners at noon each Monday.
Eucharistic Visitors: take communion, immediately following worship on Sunday mornings, to those who are homebound or hospitalized.
Healing Prayer Ministry: assists the clergy in anointing and praying for individuals desiring companionship in prayer both during and after worship. In-depth healing prayer that takes place over the course of several sessions is also available.
Intensive Prayer Team: prays for concerns of a crisis or emergency nature over a three-day period.
Intercessory Pray-ers: offer intentional daily prayer on behalf of St. Margaret's, the community at large, and the world.
Monday Morning Pray-ers: gather each Monday to pray for individuals, St. Margaret's ministries, and other parish concerns.
Parish Cycle of Prayer Team: contacts church members who are on our regular weekly cycle of prayer to inquire about prayer requests.
Prayer Notebook Coordinator: keeps a prayer notebook containing the "Prayers of the People" up-to-date.
