Ministries of Prayer prayer

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. James 5:16

Prayer is at the heart of who we are and all that we do at St. Margaret's. There are many opportunities to pray and different styles of prayer. If you desire prayer for yourself or others, please email or call us. We would be grateful to pray for you. You are also invited to contact a prayer group yourself. Please contact Christie Demura at cdemura@saintmargarets.org for more information.

Contemplative Prayer offers the opportunity to read scripture and participate in silent contemplative prayer inspired by the Thomas Keating Centering Prayer model. This group meets in the sanctuary at noon each Monday. Contact Carolyn Wyman for for more information, contemplative@saintmargarets.org

Eucharistic Visitors take communion to those who are homebound or hospitalized, following worship on Sunday mornings. Contact Steve Couch and the Eucharistic Visitors team for more information, ev@saintmargarets.org.

Healing Prayer Ministry assists the clergy in anointing and praying for individuals desiring companionship in prayer both during and after worship. In-depth healing prayer that takes place over the course of several sessions is also available.

Intensive Prayer Team prays for concerns of a crisis or emergency nature over a three-day period. Contact this team at intensive@saintmargarets.org.

Intercessory Pray-ers offer intentional daily prayer on behalf of St. Margaret's, the community at large, and the world. Reach Sally Rutherford and this team at intercessory@saintmargarets.org.

Monday Morning Pray-ers gather each Monday to pray for individuals, St. Margaret's ministries, and other parish concerns. Everyone is welcome to join them. Contact Kaye Ballew for more information, pray-ers@saintmargarets.org

Prayer Notebook Coordinator keeps a prayer notebook containing the "Prayers of the People" up-to-date. Feel free to add your intercessions and thanksgivings at any time.
